Lady Gaga Leg Amputation in the name of Fashion

10:22 PM by mr. simplicity · 0 comments

Numerous sites allege that Lady Gaga announced she had one of her legs amputated below the knee in the name of fashion, and underwent the operation in order to look different. Supposedly her record company paid for the surgery, and her new leg will be featured in her upcoming video to be released in a few weeks.

“This is the latest fashion I’m starting and you can see that I’m a world leader when it comes to wacky and weird sh*t huh. Next month after I recover from the surgery I hope to have the other leg amputated or maybe my arm, hmm…which one should I amputate next?” Gaga reportedly told MTV.

Now, we are major fans of the Gaga, so if this is true, more power to her, but just like Bobby Brown, we’re sure her left leg is alive and well.

Believe it? Or not…

The slogan for Uzbekistan Airways -- soon-to-be proud owners of a new Boeing Dreamliner -- does not exactly inspire confidence.

Mirror Man: It's Not a Sculpture

When we first saw these images of "mirror man", we thought this to be a sculpture. But later we realized that this wasn't just another sculpture. But instead he turned out to be a street performer who creates amazing living art in Los Angeles. Flickr user SiLver sKY spotted him near Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles and he was wearing a suit made of mirrors, from head to toe.

Here comes a new selection of pictures that are difficult to explain. You can try to find a sense to them if you want, but it’s a lost cause to my opinion because most of them are beyond understanding and common sense.

Her work relies upon books, maps and other found materials as she blends together traditional craft, contemporary media and remnants of consumer culture. Her process employs digital media reinterpreted through stitching and embroidery.

A Nine Car Garage House

5:55 PM by mr. simplicity · 0 comments

When one plans to build a house he always has certain prerequisites about how he wants the things to be in his home. The richer you get the fancier the prerequisites become, though for most people like us it's the not the prerequisites but limited financial resources which determines our choice.
While designing KRE House (nine-car garage house) the client had two prerequisites for architect Takuya Tsuchida. The first one was that the house needs to have a nine car garage, and added to this was the possibility of viewing one of the cars from the living room. The other one was that a tall tree was to be placed inside the house. Tsuchida had to come up with a design keeping in view the two prerequisites with only 2000 square feet at his disposal in the posh Shirokane area of Tokyo. And he came up with an interesting design as per the requirement of the client. The car elevator KRE House reminds us of the 'Parking Underneath The Garden' that enables to move the car from the garage to the living room.
