We wish we could just post this video for you to look at without any preamble, but it does require a little explaining. You see, a recent 'female' contestant on Thailand's Got Talent shocked the living daylights out of the judges... after she sang with a man's voice -- as well as a woman's.As you'll see from around one minute into the clip below, a very pretty young lady is about to sing for the approval of the panel, consisting of actors Nirut Sirijanya and Pornchita 'Benz' Na Songkhla and TV producer Pinyo Rutham.
When she does, their reaction is nothing short of priceless.
She has... two voices. Two amazing voices, in fact. The song she sings is originally by Mild and is called 'Unlovable' but we don't know her/his name just yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we do.
A rudimentary translation of the judge's comments reads as follows:
Sirijanya: "You have been deceiving me all along. It's impossible."
Songkhla: "He's beautiful, isn't he? (Asks the crowd) I was dumbfounded when you started the second verse."
Rutham : "Initially, I was certain that you were a transexual, but once you began singing, I was fooled to think that you were female. After you started the male verse, I should have trusted my gut feeling. Continue the deception."
God knows what Simon Cowell would say if he saw this. Our guess? Something pretty snarky. Come on, it's what he does... Anyway, check out the video below and prepare to have your mind soundly blown.
